Volunteer Opportunities

Class Retreats

This is a fun and unique way to meet other parents, your students classmates, and their teachers. Retreats would not be possible without our incredible parent volunteers!

Serve day is student created, led, and defended. It originated by a group of determined students that wanted to live true to the mission of our school “virtuously in the service of others.” It has continued to be lived out each year since by the Student Leadership class, which organizes a day where both students and staff go out to serve our brothers and sisters in the greater Kansas City community. We would love for you to join us for this day!

School of Faith Breakfasts

Each Community graciously provides breakfast during School of Faith on Thursday mornings for the staff. Please sign up to bring something for your student’s Community on their assigned dates!

We are looking for parents, grandparents, friends, or alum that would be willing to serve on the SJA Auction Committee. Volunteer roles would potentially require a 6-month time commitment, which include meeting once a month. These various committees are: silent auction, live auction, sponsorships, food, decorations, marketing, acquisitions, etc…. There is something for everyone! We NEED you!

Please join us, no experience necessary.  This is a fun opportunity to meet new families and serve the school. Questions or to sign up? Contact Amber Hellwig at ahellwig@sjakeepingfaith.org or 931-254-4271.

Moms Club

One thing’s for sure—all moms need to connect with other moms! We host many events throughout the year and would love to have you on our team.
