Junior CSP Guidelines

  • Students will fulfill the general guidelines listed here.
  • The project must directly affect and serve people outside the SJA community, preferably people who are poor, lonely, have disabilities, and/or are disenfranchised. If your agency does not serve these groups of people, you must talk to your Theology teacher before approval.
  • Domestic and International SJA Missions Trips are applicable for CSP.
  • Team camps or other activities you are already expected to participate in cannot count for CSP.
  • Thrift stores, food pantries and other agencies that do serve these groups of people listed above but in which you would not have direct client contact are not acceptable for Junior year CSP.
  • A yearly presentation is conducted through theology class.
  • If the hours, paper and presentation are not completed, you will not be able to move on to the next grade level.
