OUR MISSION
At St. James Academy, we believe that educating our staff, students, and school families in the teachings of the church and creating an environment where praying together and sharing our faith experiences is not only acceptable but the norm. We create an environment for young people and the wider community to grow closer to the heart of Christ.

I am the 2nd of 7 kids and grew up in Leawood, Kansas. After graduating from the University of Arizona I moved with my family to Philadelphia and spent about 10 years on the East Coast, with the exception of a year spent in Gaming, Austria studying with Franciscan University where I am pursuing a Masters in Theology. I spent 5 years helping lead high school retreats in Philadelphia before coming to St. James in 2017.
I want to become a saint; it will not be easy at all... I should have started sooner, while it was not so difficult; but in any case ‘better late than never'. - Zelie Martin"
