Athletics (NCAA)

Are you planning to pursue a sport in college? Please see your counselor to discuss your NCAA options and ensure the NCAA eligibility paperwork is in order.

College bound students that want to participate in Division I or Division II athletics must meet a core-course progression requirement to be eligible to compete in the initial year of full-time enrollment at an NCAA Division I or Division II school.

*Important update from NCAA Division I Schools: 10 of the 16 core courses must be completed by the end of Junior year.

To Do for Juniors

Test scores on High School Transcripts are not taken by the Eligibility Center. Make sure to add these codes when registering for test with the codes below:

NCAA Code – 9999
NAIA Code – 9876

  • Meet with your counselor to check your core course worksheet.
  • Send Transcript to Eligibility Center

To Do for Seniors

  • Continue testing
  • Continue to take core courses to fulfill requirements
  • Fill out amateur questionnaire
