St. James Academy exists thanks to the efforts of many committed families. Our goal is to keep Catholic education at St. James Academy financially within reach of all families who are interested in a faith-based education. We are very thankful to the priests of Johnson County for helping to make this possible through parish subsidy.
The formula and criteria for determining need-based financial assistance are the same for all three Johnson County High Schools (Bishop Miege, Saint Thomas Aquinas, and St. James Academy). Generally, the amount of assistance for which a family qualifies will be the same at each school.
After much research and discussion, St. James Academy has selected FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment to collect all financial aid applications for 2018-19. This decision will improve the safety and security of your personal identifiable information in the aid process.
Families applying for financial aid for the 2018-19 school year will need to complete an application and submit the necessary supporting documentation to FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment by April 1, 2018. Applicants can apply online by clicking the FACTS link below.
Applicants must re-apply each year.
Please note: families with incoming freshmen may apply now and submit a copy of your 2016 tax return. We will process your application now and notify you of your award, pending receipt of your 2017 tax return by April 1, 2018.
